The Arts Experience, hosted by Mosaic Connection, is celebrating its sixth year and will again be held at 120 Beall Ave. The corner of Beall and E. Liberty St. in downtown Wooster.
Originally a one day affair the Arts Experience, has grown into a week long event. Not only an art show but an appreciation for the arts exhibit. The 6 day event, open to the public, will include visual arts and literary works, while music and drama will be a part of the opening artisans reception and the closing main event.
The art will be sacred and secular in nature, spanning an array of mediums including painting, sculpture, carving, photography, digital art and imaging and more! We plan to involve many area artists from teens to professionals. And again we will have a children’s display area.
As in the past, we plan to offer several hands-on, “make-n-take” activities the evening of the Main Event. And this year we will have artists demonstrating their crafts during the day on Saturday. Plus we will have our gift shop, full of hand crafted items, open during all event hours.
It is our goal to reach out to area artists and the local community to not only display art but to live it and to acknowledge art’s healing, fulfilling, and transforming power.
