What’s it about?
The Children’s Christian Arts Festival (CCAF), hosted by Mosaic Connection in cooperation with Wooster Mennonite Church, is a 7 day, indoor event, combining a week-long public exhibit with one big day of festivities which will include hands-on arts, music, roaming actors, games, food, market place gift shop, Prince & Princess party, silent auction and prayer room.
The purpose of this festival is to provide opportunities for our community, particularly children and their families, to be involved in the arts and allowed to experience creativity through an organization that is Christ centered. We want to highlight local artists and artisans of all ages, and be a tool for engaging the community in the practice and appreciation of the arts and its healing, fulfilling, and transforming power.

“He has filled them
with skill to do every sort of work…”
Call to artists!
We want to open this up to all area artists, from elementary children to adults who create in all sorts of media. We are open to anything from photography, painting, sculpting, and drawing to poetry, creative writing, textile arts, quilting and everything in between.
You may display your work in our gallery style exhibits and sell items such as prints & note cards in The Market Place Gift Shop.
As part of this festival we will be presenting a gallery style exhibit, which will be divided into two categories. One category will be art inspired by the theme, “Sower of Seed; artistic reflections on the parables of Jesus.” The second category will be for all other creative works. Both exhibits will be up and open to the public during the week of May 1-7. You are invited to enter your art in one or both of these exhibits.
Space will be offered to any local school art departments, home school programs, church or Sunday school group or other private organization for the purpose of displaying art work created by children in our local community.
The Market Place Gift Shop
A market place will be part of the festival where participating artists, artisans and children’s groups can sell handmade items. This Market Place will be open during the day of the festival as well as during the week when the exhibit is open to the public and private tours.
If you have a small group, art class, home school group, assisted living group or other and you would like to schedule a private exhibit tour during the week of May 2-6, please contact us.
Service Oriented Organizations
Table space will be offered to any local organization that offers services to families and children in our community. Please contact us if you are interested in a table.
